Here you get a really sense of how important it is to carve out a space carefully before furnishing it. The small space was cut into too many pieces. It did need to be cut once, but not twice. Without the partial wall on the right, the space would have lost its magic. It is also terribly important for the layers of an interior to interlace together beautifully. Note that the panel size of each of the elements of the triptych helps keep the rear wall from feeling incomplete in any way. (2013-2014)
